Hulk Hogan's ex-wife, Linda, said she was ''afraid he would kill'' her ''in one of his rages.''
Hulk Hogan's ex-wife said he was "afraid to kill" her "in one of his tantrums.
Linda Hogan says the star of the capture - whom he divorced in 2008 after 25 years of marriage - had a violent side and was physically abusive to her.
In an excerpt from his autobiography, "Wrestling Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes", she wrote: "Hulk tore the shirt I threw lamps was in bed with his hands around my throat during the discussions, slamming doors .., hitting walls.
"I was always afraid that I would have killed one of his rages."
Discuss the book on American TV "The Today Show" Linda, 51, said she believed that prescription drugs have played a role in the WWE and TNA Wrestling moody star.
She said .. "Drugs are always around - ordered wrestlers have always been injury there was a steady stream of painkillers, anti-inflammatory steroids - many of them took steroids combined.?
"It makes someone - you do not know what you're dealing with."
Linda - who has two children, Brooke, 23, and Nick, 20 with Hulk - said she never spoke of fear of destroying the career of her husband.
He added: "I was afraid to say something. If I had said something, the carpet was stopped less than his career. I do not know what my kids have done.
"They were a little 'time. It' very scary to drive."
Linda said the 57-year-old Hulk - real name Terry Bollea - has not been shown any guilt about how he treated her.
He continued: "He did not feel remorse, and to this day has never apologized for any of his actions This thing scares me.".
Hulk refused to comment when contacted for the show.
