Katharine McPhee American singer Hope, who finished second in season 5 of American Idol, made an appearance on NBC's voice to promote his smash new musical drama next.

The series features original music by composers Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. NBC has decided to organize an exhibition in mid-season in order to couple with the voice of reality TV hit show on Monday evening, according to The New York Times.

Smash is one of the next American National Broadcasting Company (NBC) series premiere in mid-season 2011/2012. Smash stars Debra Messing (Will & Grace), McPhee (American Idol) and Oscar winner Anjelica Huston (Prizzi's Honor).

Crush was written and created by Theresa Rebeck and developed by Robert Greenblatt. The executive producers are Steven Spielberg and Smash Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Chicago and the producers of Hairspray), and songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray).

Show is a production of Universal Media Studios in association with DreamWorks. The pilots were told to pay $ 7.5 million to produce, the Hollywood Reporter.
